Throughout the week there has been much whispering behind closed doos with projects being worked on. Mother's day gifts being bought and wrapped.
This morning I was granted a sleep in and was then woken by 2 very excited children. On the table was a lovely breakfast of ham and cheese & plain croissants, juice and my morning cup of tea and the Sunday papers. My place at the head of the table was marked by gifts both bought and made.
I was most intrigued by the homemade gift that had been worked on all week.
An old candle jar filled with M&M's and carefully written messages shared between my 13 year old and my 7 year old. It was a gift orchestrated by my 13 year old who proceeded to make sure my husband bought me enough gifts to last me the year.
